Notice of completion of Tentative Assessment Roll (Pursuant to Section 506 and Article 15A, Section 1526 of the Real Property Law)
HEARING OF COMPLAINTS
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor for the Town of Mexico, County of Oswego has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year. A copy thereof will be filed with the Town Clerk at the Town Office, 64 S Jefferson St, Mexico, NY 13114 where it may be seen and examined by any interested person. The Assessor will be in attendance BY APPOINTENT PLEASE with such Tentative Assessment Roll on:
May 9th by appointment 8am-noon
May 11th, 12th, 14th, 18th & 19th By appointment 5-7
You may call 315-963-3491 and leave a voicemail for the day and time you would like to come in and include name, tax map number, address and phone number.
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, between the hours of 4PM-8PM. Calling 315-963-3491 before May 26th to schedule an appointment for the BAR is appreciated. The Mexico Board of Review will meet at the Town Office, 64 S Jefferson St, Mexico, NY to hear and examine all verified written complaints in relation to such Assessment on the application of any person believing himself aggrieved thereby. All such complaint forms must be filed with the Town Assessor on or before May 28, 2026. Complaint forms can be obtained from the Town of Mexico website www.townofmexicony.gov or can be picked up at the Town Hall.
